Mammal 1

This picture is of the gray wolf or timber wolf. Their bodies make them best suited for the taiga biome. All wolves travel in a group called packs. The gray wolf is the largest canine. They live up to 17 years before they die. They are very sensitive creatures to the world around them. They have bushy and long tails. They have pointed ears and yellow brown eyes. Their coats are made up of wooly fur to provide an insulation. They have special, long hairs to keep moisture out. The wolves visions are very motion sensitive. Their young are called cubs. The biggest pack that was ever recoded was made of 36 wolves. These wolfs feed upon moose, caribu, and other deer-like animals. Their fur varies from black, white, and brown.
