The red fox is very clever it has long ears, a long, white-tipped, bushy tail. They have little black legs. They have a rusty color to the fur. It lives in many different habitats. A fox can live up to 13 years. A male fox is called a reynard. A female fox is called a vixen. A baby fox is called a kit. A group of foxes are called a skulk or a leash. Most foxes hunt alone. They only hunt at night. They grow up to be about 2 1/2 feet long and 15 to 16 inches tall. They feed upon rabbits and hares. They are killed by farmers.
