Mammal 4





The Lynx has powerful jaws and Long sharp pointed teeth. It has sharp, retractable claws, Big ears, and a spotted fur coat. They have brown circular eyes. They have dark, Beard-like side whiskers. Some lynxs have tufts of hair on their ears. They are about 2 to 4 feet long. They have a stubby tail about 4 to 7 inches long. The lynxes feed upon small mammals (like rabbits, hares, rodents, foxes, weasels, small deers), birds, and eggs. Their young are called kittens. They are preyed upon by humans for their fur.
